不定代词each和every的用法！

一.each和every的用法：

every和each同属中位限定词，都可与奇数名词连用，且意义相近，表现‘每个’。

例：

Each day is better than the one before.

一天比一天好。

Every player was in good form.

每个运倡导都处于最佳形态。

We want every child to succeed.

我们渴望每个孩子都告捷。

Each child will find his own personal road to success.

每个孩子将会找到他一局部的告捷之路。

each和every的区别：

1、each重申一局部，而every用来归纳全体，相当于all，因此，与almost，nearly连

用时，可以用every，但不克不及与each连用。如：

Each student in our class gave a different answer.

我们班每个学生给出了一个不同的答案。

Every studen/All the students in our class pased the exam.

我们班一切的学生测验都及格了。

2、each 指两者或两者以上的“每一”，而every指三者或三者以上的“每一”。因此,each 可以指两者之一，而every则不克不及。如：

There are a lot of trees on each side of the river.

河的两边有很多树。

She knows every student in the school.

她熟悉学校里的每一个学生。

We each have our own car.

我们各位都有本人的汽车。

3、every 只作形貌词，不成单独使用，只能用于名词前作定语；each可作代词或形貌词，除放在名词前作定语外，还可以作主语，也可以单独使用，比如：

Every student has to take one.

每个学生都要选一个。

Each boy has to take one.

每个男孩都得吃一个。

Each of the boys has to take one.

每个男孩都得带一个。

Each has his advantages.

各位都有他的优点。

4、every不成以作状语，each可作状语。如：

The teacher gave us four apples each.

教师给我们每一局部四个苹果。

5、every可与表现数目标词连用，表现时间或空间的距离，而each没有这个用法。如：

Every four years athletes from all over the world take part in the Olympic Games.

每四年，来自天下各地的运倡导到场奥林匹克活动会。

I have violin lessons every two weeks.

我每两个星期上一次小提琴课。

6、every 与not 连用，表现局部否定；each 和not连用表现全部否定。比如：

Every man is not honest.

并非每一局部都老实。

Each man is not honest.

这儿每一局部都不老实。

注意：each 和every用于主语时，谓语均要求奇数。
